Private Eye Test
ADVANCED EYE TEST WITH 3D OCT EYE SCAN £55
All private eye tests include an advanced OCT health scan. In addition to the standard eye examination this includes industry leading 3D eye scans to help identify any possible eye health issues. The scan is a safe non invasive capture to provide 3D imaging on the retinal layers. It provides invaluable information to help monitor eye health and detect any early underlying changes in advance that may lead to future visual loss or eye disease.
NHS Eye Test
BASIC NHS EYE TEST FREE or ADVANCED NHS OCT TEST £20
NHS eye tests are free for diabetics, glaucoma patients, over 60s and if you are on specific benefits. An upgrade option is available which includes an indepth 3D eye scan to help identify any possible eye health issues.
We will provide an nhs voucher that contributes towards the cost of glasses if you are entitled to one.
Children's Eye Test
CHILDREN'S APPOINTMENTS FREE
Annually for UNDER 16s & 16-18 year olds (every 2 years) in full time education. Please call or email the store directly to book. The online booking system cannot be used for booking children's NHS appointments.

Please email us your sight test prescription (must be in date) and your current contact lens specifications if you are not currently a contact lens patient with us. If your eye test prescription has expired please book an eye test and contact lens appointment together as both will be required.

The staff at Glasses Lab in Beckenham are all very professional and I was very impressed by the optician who tested my eyes extremely thoroughly and took time to explain carefully what my options were for my new glasses .When choosing frames I was delighted by the selection and was encouraged to try on as many as I wished by Karolina who was able to advise me which frames would best suit my prescription.The only downside was that my new glasses took two weeks before they were ready but the wait was worth it as I am very pleased with my new glasses. So helpful from start to Finnish. They are very very good. All the staff are brilliant. I had to go back a few times to get my glasses adjusted and the attention to detail is excellent.
