Finding the right lenses for you
Contact lenses differ in material, design, replacement schedule and fit. These factors can make a significant difference to comfort and vision.
During your assessment, we will discuss:
- Your prescription
- How often you would like to wear contact lenses
- Your work, hobbies and screen use
- Any previous contact lens experience
- Dryness, sensitivity or comfort concerns
- The most appropriate lens options for your needs
Your optometrist will examine the front of your eyes and take the measurements needed to select suitable trial lenses.

Depending on your prescription and eye health, options may include:

Regular aftercare is important even when your lenses feel comfortable. We assess your vision, lens fit, comfort and the health of the front surface of your eyes, then advise whether you should continue with your existing lenses or try another option.

The staff at Glasses Lab in Beckenham are all very professional and I was very impressed by the optician who tested my eyes extremely thoroughly and took time to explain carefully what my options were for my new glasses .When choosing frames I was delighted by the selection and was encouraged to try on as many as I wished by Karolina who was able to advise me which frames would best suit my prescription.The only downside was that my new glasses took two weeks before they were ready but the wait was worth it as I am very pleased with my new glasses. There is a great range of glasses available and the team really help you choose what suits you and is the right frame for what you need.I ordered my glasses on March 29th and they were ready to collect on April 7th, just over a week later!Thank you!
